The Evolution® 250 disposer is our top-of-the-line residential sink grinder. Realising innovative design with premium components, the Evolution® 250 disposer is precision manufactured to be the definitive home food waste disposal unit.
Its power lies in its 3-stage grinding mechanism, capable of mulching the most stubborn of food waste. The first 2 stages of the operation run the food waste through a bladed sheering ring, using both swivel and fixed lugs to grind down waste. That waste is then granulated by an undercutter disk. As for bones and fruit pits? The built-in jam sensor increases rotational torque up to 200 per cent and pulses 60 times per second, obliterating the issue. In the event that the disposer cannot handle the waste, it is capable of reverse action grinding to unclog the mechanism.

Do I need a special sink to install a food waste disposer?
Not at all. Disposers are designed to attach to the average kitchen sink. Your main consideration should be whether you have enough space beneath your sink to fit the disposer. Please check each disposer's page for its specifications.
Do disposers require any servicing or maintenance?
No, unless something significant goes wrong.
Disposers are straightforward appliances, and our range features innovative features to prevent clogging or breakdowns. These features include jam-detection circuits that temporarily increase power to overcome tough waste and reverse grinding action to unclog and protect your disposer from damage.
Do I have to empty my disposer? Where does the food waste go?
Disposers do not store food waste. As you feed waste into your disposer, you should let cool water run from your tap. The flowing water will help push the waste through the grinding mechanism.
The particulate waste then flows through your plumbing and into the sewage system.
What can't I put in a food waste disposer?
While our disposers are extraordinarily powerful and have built-in features explicitly designed to overcome jams and clogs, you should still be vigilant about what you put into your disposer.
The following is a list of things we recommend you avoid putting into your disposer, either because they may damage or clog the mechanism or, more generally, because they may clog your plumbing entirely.
