Water is our planet’s most important resource, and the responsibility of protecting our planet and nation’s water supply falls on all of us. Our eco-friendly undersink and bar-top water dispensers are designed to meet that challenge.
Every bit of tap hardware used in our water dispensers is recyclable, as are the CO2 bottles used to dispense sparkling water. By refilling bottles with pristine water from our dispensers, you can cut down on your bottled water supply, saving your budget and the planet in one move.
The only thing more irritating than something breaking down in your bar is the time it takes for a service technician to come out and fix it. In all that time, your staff are forced to work slower and jury-rig quick fixes while your customers wait and wait.
We won’t let that happen to you. By using industry-leading software, we’ll track the service history of every water dispenser in your bar. We guarantee your dispensers will always be in good working condition, so you won’t have to worry about costly breakdowns bringing your service to a halt.
On average, it takes about 6 grams of CO2 to produce 1 litre of sparkling water. To ensure a consistent supply of sparkling water for your bar, we recommend using a refillable CO2 cylinder with your system; all of our sparkling water systems can be adapted to use these cylinders.
There are two sizes available: the 2.6 kg size, which can produce approximately 433 litres of sparkling water, and the 1 kg size, which can produce around 1,000 litres.
It's always a good idea to have a spare cylinder on hand in case you run out during service.
If you own a bar, consider offering a self-serve water station for your customers. This can help reduce the workload for your staff and make it easier for patrons to get a drink.
All you need is a water supply outlet and a power source, and you can set up a cabinet or adapt an existing one to install a tap. While a drain is recommended, it's not necessary – some sparkling water systems have a drip tray that collects spills and is easy to clean.
You can offer filtered chilled and ambient drinking water or add sparkling water as an option. Many of our filtered water taps also have a shut-off function that automatically stops the flow of water when the handle is released, making it easy to use and maintain.
When choosing a water dispensing system for your bar, the brand you choose will affect the cost of consumables such as replacement water filters and refillable CO2 cylinders. As a general guide, you can expect to pay around $180 for a replacement water filter every 6 months, and between $65-$95 for refillable CO2 cylinders (depending on the cylinder size) over the same period.
Servicing costs will vary depending on your service provider and location.
When it comes to choosing a filtered water tap for your bar, it's important to consider the needs of your customers. Our taps provide filtered chilled, sparkling, or boiling water, or a combination of them all if that’s what you need.
To determine the right size system for your needs, it's crucial to consider the busiest times at your establishment. How many cups of chilled/sparkling and/or boiling water do you expect to use per hour during peak times? This will help you determine the correct capacity for your system. Our brands offer a range of capacities to accommodate small to heavy usage.
