Each sparkling water tap requires a replaceable CO2 cartridge to carbonate your drinking water. So, how much sparkling water can you expect before you need to replace a cartridge?
Your system’s capacity depends on how much sparkling water you consume and the level of carbonation you choose (the Zip and Billi taps have adjustable levels).
As a guide, it takes approximately 6 grams of CO2 to produce 1 litre of sparkling water. In an average family home, it will take around six to eight months to use up a one-kilogram bottle of CO2. Naturally, bottles run out quicker in high-use commercial settings and may need to be replaced every three months.

Yes. All of our sparkling water taps also dispense still water.
Your new filtered sparkling water tap can be installed over your sink by drilling a small hole into the sink or your benchtop. You can also install it as a 'stand-alone' feature with a separate drain underneath the tap.
Zip taps come with a round drain font kit, and the Billi taps come with a rectangular drain font kit. You can also use a drip tray if you don’t have drainage access, which is a popular option in cafés, restaurants and bars.
This depends on how much you use your filtered sparkling tap and your water quality. Generally speaking, you will need to change the filters in your home every 8 to 12 months, and in a commercial setting, you will need to change them every 4 to 6 months.

Yes, you can change the filters and CO2 bottle yourself. We also have a service team who can do this for you if you prefer. Make sure you follow the manufacturer’s guidelines when changing them over to ensure they are replaced in line with their recommendations.
You need to allow for both the chiller unit and the CO2 bottle in all of our sparkling water taps. Check the individual product specifications for their undersink space requirements.
